AMP 331 is an advanced activity monitoring system that provides researchers with accurate and quantitative information about their subjects' activities as they go about their daily lives. Powered by Dynastream's innovative advances in inertial and wireless technologies, AMP 331 allows researchers to monitor their subjects over multiple days and then download and view the data in spreadsheet format on their PC. The AMP 331 activity monitoring system consists of the following components:

AMP Ankle Sleeve : The ergonomically designed AMP Ankle Sleeve houses the AMP Pod and holds it in position on the back of the ankle for accurate monitoring. Comfortable enough to wear for days at a time, and compact enough to be worn under dress pants or slacks, it encourages a high level of subject compliance.

AMP Link : The USB based AMP Link enables wireless downloading of the data, via Dynastream's proprietary RF protocol, from the AMP Pod to your PC, allowing convenient downloading at your desktop or workstation. Downloading several days of data takes only seconds.

AMP Ware : This easy to use PC Application allows you to enter subject and trial information, and then wirelessly download data from the AMP Pod to your PC using the AMP Link. The subject and trial information is exported along with the AMP data to a Microsoft Excel workbook where the information can be viewed and analyzed. Web browser based help files can be accessed from within AMP Ware to assist you in maximizing your use of the AMP 331 system.
AMP Pod : At the heart of the system is a proprioceptive or "smart" pod which can sense its motion in space over time, enabling accurate measurement of a person's activity. The AMP Pod assigns each second of the day into one of three activity classes: Inactive, Active, and Locomotion. It measures critical locomotion details such as distance traveled, speed, cadence, step length and also computes energy expenditure. Of course, it also tracks the number of steps taken.
Product Features

Objective and Accurate: AMP 331 offers an objective and quantitative way to capture and analyze your subjects' activity levels. IT does so with a high level of detail and accuracy, virtually eliminating the likelihood of inaccurate monitoring and the difficulties often associated with subject recall studies.

Robust Data: AMP 331 classifies each second of the day into one of three activity classes; Inactive, Active, and Locomotion. IT also counts the number of steps taken, calculates the distance traveled, and computes other gait details such as walking speed, step length, and cadence.

Durable and Comfortable: AMP 331 is durable allowing real world monitoring of most day-to-day activities. It is also comfortable to wear, encouraging high levels of subject compliance.

Practical: AMP 331 is designed to monitor activity over multiple days without requiring any intervention on the part of the researcher, making it practical to carry out large studies with multiple subjects.

Professional: AMP 331 is a product of Dynastream Innovations, a world leader in inertial and wireless technologies. Our commitment to ongoing research and development and customer service means that your activity monitoring research will be supported by leading technology and a dedicated team of experts.
