Dynastream’s ANT Adopted in Garmin’s Line of GPS-enabled Fitness Products |

Dynastream Innovations Inc, a leading provider of sensor and wireless technology to global sport instrumentation OEMs, today announced that Garmin International, a global leader in navigation and communication products for the aviation and consumer markets, has adopted ANT SPORT to help expand its growing line of GPS-enabled fitness products.
The Edge 305 uses ANT to wirelessly communicate information between the cycle computer head unit and its heart rate and speed/cadence sensors. The Forerunner 305 personal trainer uses ANT to combine a heart rate monitor to the wrist-worn fitness computer.

Dynastream Innovations’ ANT wireless technology and ANT Sport network enable 2.4GHz wireless communication and interoperability “by default” among sport sensors and sport data receivers manufactured by different OEMs. The interoperability of the network leads to a community of products that can function together bringing a plug and play product philosophy to the sport consumer.
The ANT wireless product is available as: a single chip integrated solution, 2-chip RF + Protocol solution, and module solutions based upon the chip solution formats. Dynastream also markets advanced sport
instrumentation sensor devices built upon the ANT wireless platform.
