Instructions for linking your ANT+ heart rate monitor with fitness equipment
:

  1. Look for the ANT+ 'Link Here' logo on fitness equipment such as treadmills, bikes, rowers, and ellipticals.
This logo indicates that the equipment can display your ANT+ enabled heart rate.
  2. Put on your heart rate monitor as per the manufacturer instructions.
  3. Turn on the equipment console and/or clear any previous workout information as required.
  4. Lean into the console for five seconds so that your heart rate monitor is as little as 15 cm (6") from the ANT+ 'Link Here' logo.

  5. Once properly linked, begin your workout as usual. The fitness equipment will keep displaying your heart rate until you end your workout session or you leave the Tracking Zone.

Instructions for linking ANT+ watches and heart rate monitors with fitness equipment:

  1. Look for the ANT+ 'Link Here' logo on fitness equipment such as treadmills, bikes, rowers, and ellipticals.
  2. Put your watch in Training mode but do not start an exercise session (i.e. the chronograph/timer should not be running)
  3. Turn on the equipment console or clear any previous workout information as required.
  4. Bring your watch into the ANT+ 'Link Here' Zone (within 6" of logo) on the fitness equipment for five seconds.

  5. Once properly linked, the watch will “beep” and display a message confirming that it is indeed linked to the fitness equipment. Your user and workout information will automatically be sent from the watch to the fitness equipment.
  6. Press "START" on the fitness equipment to begin. This will also start the chronograph/timer on the watch.
  7. The fitness equipment will send applicable workout information (e.g. distance, speed, cadence, or power) in real-time to the watch where it is saved for future viewing or downloading.
  8. The fitness equipment and watch will stay linked until you end your workout session and/or you leave the tracking zone. Pressing “STOP” on the fitness equipment will also stop the watch exercise session.
